Ed shared their experience with Financial Partner magazine:
“Twenty-five years ago I focused on growing crops and developing markets. Now my role is to stay out in front and develop our five-to-ten year plans. I enjoy helping our younger employees use their talents to pursue farm opportunities..
“We rely on six full-time employees and peak at 35 during harvest. Employees are the heart of our business. From production to food safety and relationships — that’s how it happens. We don’t hesitate to expand with good employees.
“Expanding is just dreaming without analysis. We appreciate Marc’s true, solid analysis of our numbers. He shows us our strengths and areas to work on. It is quite enjoyable to go through the process with him. We feel more comfortable with a critic in the room. We get those challenges from Marc.”
