The Farm Credit of Western New York
Board of Directors
The
Farm Credit of Western New York board consists of 10 members: 8 are elected
by Farm Credit of Western New York member-borrowers and two outside directors
are elected by the board. As elected officials, directors are responsible
for representing the best interest of the organization and its borrowers.

Customers

by electing the board of directors
who set policy.
The Farm Credit of Western New York election process includes a regional
nominating process that ensures sound representation from throughout our
16-county territory. Member-borrowers from throughout the Association vote
for all open positions via mail-in ballots sent a few days following the Annual Meeting.
Meet Our Board:

Henry (Hal) Adams III is chairman of the board. Hal operates Black Brook
Farm, a 140-cow dairy farm in Shortsville. First elected to the board
in 1997, Hal is completing his first year of a four-year term.


Charles R. Miller is vice chaiman of the board. He was elected to the
board in 1999 and is completing his second year of a four-year term. Charles
operates Willow Ridge Farms, LLC, a 550-sow farrow-to-finish hog farm
with 850 acres of grain and vegetable crops.

Robert R. Brown II, of Waterport, was elected to the board in 2002 and
is completing a two-year term. Bob is part of the seventh generation to
operate Orchard Dale Fruit Farms, Inc., growing 300 acres of fruits. Bob
also operates Brown's Berry Patch with pick-your-own berries, apples,
cherries and pumpkins, along with an ice cream shop, bakery, deli and
gift shop. Bob is a managing partner of Lake Ridge Fruit Company that
stores, packs and ships 750,000 bushels of apples.


June W. Hoeflich, outside director, was appointed to serve out the remaining
two years of a 4-year term expiring in 2008. June is a retired Sr. Bank
Executive from HSBC Bank, USA.


Richard P. Janiga, of East Aurora, was elected to the board in 2000 and
is completing his first year of a four-year term. Richard owns and operates
R + D Janiga Enterprises, LLC a 280-cow dairy, cash crop and custom harvest
operation.


Donald N. Jensen operates Lawnhurst Farms, a 765-cow dairy farm in Stanley.
Elected to the board in 1996, Don is completing a two-year term.


Bruce L. Kidder was elected to to the board in 1999 and is completing
his second year of a four-year term. Bruce operates Kidder Farms, a 310-cow
dairy farm.


Gary Mahany, of Arkport, operates Mahany Farms, 1975 acres in Steuben
County. The farm grows potatoes for chipping and tablestock, field corn,
snap beans, wheat, oats, and clover for seed and hay. The farm also owns
heavy equipment for construction and site work on farm and off. Gary was
elected to the board in 2008 and will serve his first year of a four-year
term.


James R. McIntosh, P.E., outside director, was first appointed by the
board in 1998 and was re-appointed to a four-year term. Jim is the City
Engineer for the city of Rochester. He is responsible for directing the
Bureau of Architectural and Engineering Services. The Bureau implements
the city's capital program and is responsible for the design and construction
of engineering and architectural projects within the city.


Peter J. Russell, of Appleton, was first elected to the board in 1998
and is completing his third year of a four-year term. Pete is president
of Russell Farms, Inc., a 900-acre fruit and vegetable farm.
